The coil spring is a major component which maintains vehicle handling and ride height as well as giving you a comfortable ride. It is a vital part of the vehicle suspension and works in conjunction with the shock absorber keeping your wheels in contact with the road at all times. The fitting position is in an exposed area and is subject to damage from the weather, stone chips and road salt.

Coil springs should be replaced if badly corroded, broken or if your vehicle ride height has decreased.

Always replace in pairs across the same axle.
