 The brake hose or \flexy\" hose is used to supply brake fluid to the caliper or wheel cylinder. The flexible rubber allows for movements at the wheel. They are manufactured from reinforced rubber which is impervious to oils and fluids and must be able to withstand extremely high pressures which the braking system generates. Should be changed when signs of damage or execssive wear are visible.
